Cooking pasta Putanesca is pretty easy. The ingredients are not only inexpensive but they are also available in almost every grocery. When it comes to pasta, you can simply select from varieties such as rigatoni, linguini, vermicelli, rotini, penne, or radiattore.

Here is a quick pasta puttanesca recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup anchovy paste
  • 1 red chili
  • 2 tablespoons of caper
  • 8 black olives
  • 14 ounces of canned tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 7 ounces of radiattore

Directions:
Place the radiattore in a pot with boiling water. Add in some oil and salt. Allow it to cook for 10 minutes.

Next, place the oil in a skillet. Add in the onion garlic, anchovy, parsley, red chilli, and the capers. Allow the ingredients to cook for about 3 minutes.

Add in the tomatoes. Allow everything to cook for another 3 minutes.

Toss the sauce and the pasta.
